How was this vintage in general?

Read that very expensive $45 wine magazine today (can't remember the name but I couldn't forget the price). THeyhad a piece (one page) on this and the author noted that the vintage had its ups and downs and lead to lots of variation throughout all regions (that were I had a bit of issue with this report...did not break it down into regions...) He noted a very hot and dry end of august and 1st week of september and that ended up raisining the grapes before they were phenolic...(sp) ripe. Even VEga Sicilia suggested that when their 2006 comes out in 2016, it will be more feminine than the 2004 and 2006.
