Very much a "New World" style of Tempranillo, this young wine is a nice daily drinker. Deep ruby-to-purple in color, with a juicy nose of dark berries and plum. Some spiciness joins the dark fruits in the middle, and the finish shows a light oakiness. Pretty soft tannins, overall. I was not as impressed as Big Bob with the "earthiness" in it, as I found it more forward and fruity, but he says drink in the next 3-4, and I'd agree with that. It ran about $10. RP 91, FWIW. Solomon brings it in.

i agree with you... i didn't get a lot of earthiness from it either, but i did get a ton of blueberry fruit...
