Hi Crox, and welcome to the Wine Board. If it is heavier on cheese, meat (and/or vegetables), and pasta; than is on tomatoes, try a Salice Salentino. If it is loaded with tomatoes try a Chianti Classico or Barbera d'Asti.

Whoa, I didn't know it could get so detailed. Thanks for the tip though. I was planning on a Chianti, but maybe I'd better double check the details.

Didn't want to analyze it down to the gnat's eye. The guidelines are the more acid in the dish, the more acid should be in the wine. The Salice is much lower in acid than the other two.
