I had this very good Rioja with pork loin, asperigas and salad w/red wine vinegerete dressing tonight. I didn't see any post on this wine when I did a search. I'm still trying to decribe the flavors. It is smooth, with alot of berrys on the nose, a bit of spice and maby a little pepper on the finish. The only drawback is the finish isn't very long. Anyone else familiar with this wine?
$10.99 at a small wine shop called Wine Vault in Charlotte. They are a little more expensive, but a nice little shop.

After the juice set out the nose went from berrys to smokey wood.
