Hi, IK here; can't get on with my own username and password.

2002 Agricola Falset-Marca, Etim Montsant ($6.00 NH Liq Store). Alcohol level: 13.5%. This is a blend of Garnacha, Carignan, Tempranillo, and Syrah. A true purple colored wine, with intense red fruit on the nose and upfront. Heaps of more fruit with a healthy dose of Montant clay in middle, and a nice finish.

We matched this with a complex burger cooked over charcoal and mesquite chips, baked potato, and salad (very nice salad). Is Wednesday a dull night? Not in this house!

Sounds great, IK! (I couldn't log onto the board for a while either.)

For some strange reason, I have not seen this on the shelves down here since the '01, which I posted on enthusiastically at the time. Don't know why it disappeared, but it could have something to do with GA's odd rules about dropping distributers -- if you do it, you can't get back into the market for 5 years, or some such nonsense. Anyway, it sounds like it made for a nice evening for you!
