Jumilla, Spain. Monastrell.

A very nice, chunky red with intense color and bold flavors of blackberry, earth, tar and a hint of mint. Rustic in style and not for the faint, this 2006 continues to show consistancy with the last several years. 14% Alc/vol and $8 by the bottle make this a no brainer.

One of our staff favorites. This is a really nice wine at an incredible price.
