- Drew - 08-27-2005

35% Garnacha, 30% Tempranillo, 25% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.

A ripe and rustic, fruit forward Spaniard that highlights dark black cherry flavors with hints of lush blackberry and dark fruit. Also shows some hints of earth and mineral which add complexity. Nicely made and a good Fall and Winter selection for rustic meat dishes. 13.5%Alc/vol $8.

As a P.S. I drank this bottle over a 2 day period with only a cork to preserve freshness and the wine was better at the last drop!

Drew,

I enjoyed this wine, but..... am curious about bottle variation. I've tried this a couple of times and gotten different results.

Since you are in Bel Air, a few wine geek pals of mine and I are having a tasting with wines under $15 if you're interested, in Timonium. This will be on the 28th (Monday) of November. Let me know!
