WOW! For lovers of dirt, barnyard, and deep black fruited juice this hummer should hit the top of the pile. Almost purple, and with loads of fruit hitting the mouth it took me awhile to see the depth of this lovely. Once in the mouth it seemed the finish would be permanent. 75% Tempranillo 15% Mazuelo, and 10% Graziano this is a bottle I'd have to have an afternoon to play with. Opened it for a buiddy who came by and consequently it dint last long. Was a gift so have no ideer what the price but guess it may be up there with the Tintos. 92. 13% alc. WW

I tasted the '94 of this at a tasting with the regular '94 Muga Rioja and the '94 Muga Rioja Gran Reserva. The Torre Muga Rioja was in a more modern style and tasted too oaky IMHO. I liked the Gran Reserva however.
