- jmcginley1 - 10-11-2005 Wow. Clay red with hints of brown in color(that typical red/brown color of the older riojas). Nose of leather and meat, with tart cherries and a hint of rose petals. Mouth filling and yet silky on the palette. The leather and cherry flavors carry though to soft tannins that melt into a long finish. Killer Juice. 14% alc. $55 and worth it. - dananne - 10-12-2005 Those well-made '94 Gran Reservas are something, aren't they? Sounds wonderful. Makes me want to crack one of my Murrieta Ygay Gran Reservas sometime soon. - TheEngineer - 10-12-2005 mmmmmm..........maybe this weekend.....may need to stand one up. |
