Hmm....not sure about this one. Starts off, semi dry, but has the thickness of a sweet wine. Good apricot scent but heavy hotness at the end (15.5% alcohol).

Would guess that the hotness was indeed from the alky, although the "thickness" should have ameliorated it.

You are right in that the thickness kept the alcohol under control...but only a the beginning. By mid point, you started noticing it....then by the end....hot....
