This was a bit disappointing. 14.1% alcohol
Clear and bright appearance. Tangy grapefruit nose. Tastes a bit less acidic or crisp than the nose suggests. Medium weight on the palate. This might partner well with mussels if you choose not to go with Chablis or Muscadet. Overall, not thrilled with it. It is an okay wine but doesn't really speak to me of classic varietal characteristics. My favorite domestic Sauvignon Blancs remain St. Supery, Honig, and Joel Gott.

What a coincidence. Michael Honig just left the shop. We carry their regular Sauv Blanc and Cab. He sent ahead the Rutherford Sauv Blanc, the Bartolucci Vyd Cab and the Late Harvest Sauv Blanc. The SB was lucious with melon, vanilla and citrus notes. The Cab was very balanced and had lots of cassis. The LH SB was very rich and creamy. Nice wines.
