I had a glass of this to go with La Truite Meuniere (trout meuniere) at Circle Bistro in DC. I didn't take notes on the wine, not even sure of the vintage, but will report that it was enjoyable and a good match to a side order of Sonoma goat cheese and to the trout and haricots verts (delicate green beans) accompanying the trout. The trout had a butter and fine herbs sauce and thin-sliced almonds.

I can add Joel Gott to St. Supery and Honig as California Sauvignon Blanc wines that I can enjoy.

So far, after about 30 years or so, St. Supery is my fave.

Oh yeah, I forgot Waugh Cellars Susy's Cuvee. At least as good as ANY SB I've ever had --- maybe better.
