- TheEngineer - 04-01-2005 Had it as a tasting at the local wine shop. Very nice. It was a medium gold color. The nose was very strong with nice levels of botrytis but not choking levels. Nose of lemon and honey but it was a clean smell. Very balanced, the flavor was full on the tonge but melts away with a nice acidity. Finish is LONG. I've has many 2001's (Guiraud, Myrat, Climen, Bel Air, Haut Bergeron, etc,...), but this one is one of the nicest. [This message has been edited by TheEngineer (edited 04-01-2005).] |
